Viewpoint “Nova Sintra”, located on the road towards the village of Cova Rodela, a little above the island’s capital, but with easy access. From Nova Sintra to get there it is necessary to take a trail of approximately 300m uphill. A well refurbished viewpoint, pleasant to spend moments and enjoy the cozy atmosphere that is provided there. From there you can see the Ilhéu Rombo and the Ilhéu de Cima and, on clear days, the neighboring island of Fogo. It is sometimes called “Nova Sintra balcony”, this is because it is right above the city, providing an exhaustive view over it, being able to clearly observe each house, each street and even the smallest details that make up the organized and orderly city of Nova Sintra.
